Description

This unmarked ca. 1900 baluster form vase is of uncertain origin and features stick/brush applied/ stippled and painted luster glaze in blue on white with hints of pink.  Measuring 7 3/4" tall x 4" at the widest it has attractively proportioned 3" top lip and 3" foot.  The vase is free of cracks, chips and repairs and shows some wear and scratching to the painted designs.  The design concept is quite sophisticated and reminiscent of the better production of arts and crafts lady's pottery and china groups
