Antique Sipe Nicholes & Co Stoneware Batter Pitcher Williams Port. Pa Primative

This antique Sipe, Nichols & Co. Stoneware Batter Jug is about as decorated as they get ! Nearly the entire back side is cobalt decorated and a beautiful Snap Dragon flower on the front. Stamped, ( Sipe, Nichols & C0. Williamsport, Pa.) with original bail handle !! It is 9 1/2" tall and approximately 7" in diameter across the middle. Some chipping to the pouring spout, about 1/4" X 1/2" in size. No cracks or repairs that I know of. It is totally solid, Good luck !!
One-Gallon Stoneware Batter Pail with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "SIPE, NICHOLS & CO. / Williamsport, Pa.," circa 1875, ovoid form with tubular pouring spout, handle at base on reverse, and wood-and-wire bail handle, decorated on the reverse, front, and sides with floral motifs. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark, ears, and handle at base on reverse. Small wreath-like brushwork at base of spout. . Excellent, essentially as-made condition with exception of spout chips, no cracks no repairs.
