Description
Theturbo stove
can be used on hikes, hunting, fishing, in the country, on picnics, in snowstorms, in cars, in boats.
It is irreplaceable in places where there is a problem with firewood: in the mountains, in the tundra. in the swamp, in the deserts.
The wood chip stove is an excellent alternative to gas and kerosene burners, because no need to carry fuel with you.
Wood chips, unlike gas, work stably at low temperatures and are more reliable and safe than gasoline and kerosene burners. Unlike a campfire, it does not require setting up a campfire and preparing a large amount of firewood. This saves a lot of time and effort when you need to quickly cook food or boil tea.
Thanks to the turbo supercharger, the turbo stove develops high power, which allows you to boil water in a matter of minutes. Burning with an excess of oxygen is much more efficient even when using raw wood.
The stove consists of 4 parts:
turbo air supercharger,
body with a bottom,
the combustion chamber,
dish stand.
bag-case.
The electric turbocharger is powered by two AA batteries.
The air blower unit has a three-position switch for operating modes:
1. High speed of rotation of the fan: about 3000 rpm and the speed of air flow 3.2 m/s
2. Low fan speed: about 1500 rpm and air flow speed 1.7 m/s
3. Off - in this position it is necessary to remove the turbocharger in order to avoid overheating, because the temperature of the walls of the stove is 400-700 ° C. When the turbocharger is removed, the stove continues to work due to natural draft. In this case, a quiet combustion of the fuel occurs, which is necessary for quiet long-term cooking modes.
The operating time on one set of batteries at high revs and low revs is more than 50 hours. Tests were carried out at -15 °C on alkaline batteries.
Principle of operation
The stove has a two-chamber device. The air under the action of the turbocharger passes through the cavity of the first chamber and enters the combustion chamber. At the same time, the air heats up a lot and, thanks to this, combustion occurs efficiently even with low fuel quality. Due to this, the efficiency of the stove and the temperature of the flame increase. Small holes with a diameter of 5 mm promote more efficient mixing of unburned pyrolysis gases with oxygen and afterburn it, which also increases the efficiency of the stove. The double walls of the stove act as a thermos, preventing the combustion chamber from cooling.
