NEW IN BOX Chatty Cathy Doll, Reproduction of the Original 1960 Vintage Doll, Fashion and Package.  Original stock #681.
First in a series of classic dolls, this LIMITED EDITION CHATTY CATHY DOLL brings back the blue eyed, blond favorite from 1960, speaking in her original voice!  Her memorable outfit, cartoon package and storybook, wrist tag, even her shoe horn are all are faithfully reproduced. A numbered certificate of authenticity is also included. And added to the wrist tag, you'll find a picture of Ruth and Elliot Handler, the creators of Chatty Cathy, and a special letter from Ruth.
NOTE: For authenticity's sake, we have kept the phrases, "I'M ALL TIRED" and "I GOT HURT" as they appeared on the original package and story book, although Chatty Cathy actually says: "I'M SLEEPY" and "
I HURT M
YSELF".
My daughter had one of these dolls when she was a little girl, she is now 51 yrs old!  Wow, time flies and wonderful memories are waken by dolls like this one.
She was taken out of box to photo and check to make sure she talks.  In perfect working condition!
Smoke free home, stored in a controlled environment so she does not smell like some old dolls might.
