    Description

    This pair of candle holders has been in the family for a long time.  Dating back to the 1920s they were made by Cowan Art Pottery.  Marked on the bottom as shown in one of the photos they are in very good condition with no chips or cracks, only some wax residue and light age crazing and scratches.
    Measurements are 4 and 7/8 inches high by 8 and 1/2 inches long.  The diameter of the candle opening measures 1 inch.
    Research indicates that the shape of these candle holders is number 751.  There appears to be a number on the bottom but I cannot make it out.
