Detroit Art PEWABIC POTTERY LOVEBIRDS TILE 8" XL relief carved matte green
Outstanding large Pewabic art pottery tile with high relief carved pair of lovebirds. Has a matte teal green glaze, and there are lighter shaded highlights on relief parts of tile. Measures 8" square. Has impressed PEWABIC DETROIT mark. There is also a black X mark from Pewabic indicating this tile was a second or overrun, looks very good, but there is a small fine hairline crack on back side of tile, does not go into sides. Also tile is because of size is a little warped, not quite flat. The top of tile is excellent and these flaws when made do not detract at all.
All Pewabic tiles are handcrafted in Detroit. Slight imperfections in shape or glaze are to be expected. They are thick and sturdy tiles, suitable for use indoor and out in almost any sort of display or project. Pictures show exact tile you will receive, please check carefully.
