    Description

    Detroit Art PEWABIC POTTERY SCROLLWORK TILE red carved ormolu finial XL 5.5"
    Unusual and large Pewabic art pottery tile with a deeply carved fabulous finial design. The relief curlicue design is creamy ivory color against a rare bright cherry glaze in Measures 5-5/8" square and 3/4" thick. Has impressed PEWABIC circular mark and stamped DETROIT 2015. There is also a black slash mark from Pewabic indicating this tile was a second because of a kiln crack. The crack is on side edge and goes about 1" into front side of tile, not too noticeable and tile looks super.
    All Pewabic tiles are handcrafted in Detroit. Slight imperfections in shape or glaze are to be expected. They are thick and sturdy tiles, suitable for use indoor and out in almost any sort of display or project. Pictures show exact tile you will receive, please check carefully.
