    Description

    Offered for sale is a charming red ware planter or crock
    hand-crafted by the artisans from
    Eldreth Pottery.
    This crock is 5” tall and 5" wide across the top, tapering to a narrower base. It's hand-painted with yellow and red flowers with green leaves on a mossy green base. Small black checks surround the top and bottom. The interior is completely covered with a terra cotta glaze. It’s signed 'Eldreth Pottery'. There's no date but it's inevitably vintage.
    Eldreth Pottery closed its operations in 2017 ~ its uniquely crafted, well-made pieces such as this crock are some of the best examples of American pottery.
    This crock is in excellent pre-owned condition. No chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
    Please note, if used as a planter, there's no hole for drainage on the bottom.
