Evans Pottery 1930 's Brown Blue Swirl Bottle Vase
We believe this piece to be old swirl Evans Pottery. The vase is not marked but definitely has age to it. The previous owner believed this to be Evans Pottery as well. Little to nothing is known about Evans Pottery from the 1930's time frame although there are many references to Evans Pottery in various parts of the country in more recent times.
This 8 1/4 inch tall Evans bottle vase has a beautiful swirl surrounding the entire vase. Evans Pottery in usually unglazed. This vase is a wonderful example of an arts & crafts style. But today collectors are beginning to appreciate these pieces which are becoming increasingly difficult to find.
Exceptional vase in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no scratches to glaze, no repairs and little to no crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
Authentic Evans Pottery. All images are original and un-edited.
