The main advantages of a gasoline primus over gas:
- readily available and cheap fuel,

Petrol stoves PT-2 are capable of operating at low and ultra-low temperatures (from -40 to +40 degrees), at which gas stoves refuse to work. With gas, problems begin already when crossing minus 5 degrees. It is often necessary to warm up the gas cylinder before screwing onto the burner to get it working.
Primus can be operated at temperatures from -40 to + 40 ° C and is equipped with a burner with preheating of fuel for a quick exit to the operating mode.
