    Description and Condition:
    This 7 5/8ths inches diameter stoneware plate was hand thrown in the 1960s-70s. It is signed R L and it looks like there's a pencil script identification as well, but it is very hard for me to read it. This plate is hand thrown. It's about 1 inch deep. The glazes on this piece have a lovely waxy surface. I have seen other pieces with this signature and glaze for sale on eBay and other sites, so clearly this potter was widely followed and collected in his or her day.  Condition is flawless -- this plate has a very worn felt application on the foot to protect from hostile contact.
