FEATURES Type: gasoline camping stove, about 130 c.c. volume fuel tank. Fuel: petrol / gasoline car / gasoline extraction / benzin car / gasoline aviation / Coleman fuel. Special pin inside the nozzle for cleaning the channel without extra tools. Power: equal of 1-1.2 kWt. Working time: about 50-60 minutes. Material: brass. Dimensions: 110x90x70mm. Weight: about 0.3 kg. No any pump inside. Safety valve (hidden into the lid of fuel tank) provides the defense from high pressure inside the tank. The unit can be used with original TOURIST PT-1 case (don't forget to mount the heat-shield on the tank!). It can be used with OPTIMUS-8R case, see EXAMPLE photos please. You can use any home-made casing to have exclusive stove. Made in 1980s in USSR at Moscow city at Red October plant.

I spent a lot of trips before with petroleum stoves an 1980-1990th years, some stoves brought me a problems, but most simple stoves like presented

were very reliable at any conditions. When Internet came to my home, I was surprised that absolutely all Soviet stoves were based at famous stoves, it were very close copies of
OPTIMUS 8R

TOURIST
stove is very close to
OPTIMUS 8R
stove, but most of screw mounts are different size. some parts are exchangeable: control knob, heat shield, case. Also tank+burner units can be changed between cases.
ITEM'S CONDITION:
NEW OLD STOCK
SERVICED, TESTED, WORKING!
The unit was never used before and stored since 1980s, but minor areas of oxides can be found. I had to check it carefully and to service to be sure what I sell, because you can have the trouble even with NOS stove.
I had to disassemble the nozzle and to place new PTFE seal to control knob because original seal was no enough gasoline tight.
Rubber seal at safety valve was changed.
I tested the device with burning (see item's photos, please) at my garage, good blue flame and good sound were received. I used pure white gasoline for test. To save original burner in "new" condition I placed old used burner on the stove to test it. Photos were taken after the test.

I recommend to use special "dry fuel" or pure alcohol... if you'll use the gasoline for pre-heating it will work too, but your hands will black after manipulations with the stove.
