    Having grown up in Ohio I actually had seen these crude looking pieces of sewer tile pottery when I was younger, but I am never had the appreciation for them. Having found one recently in southern California I now understand how rare these pieces are. To find one in this shap, with no cracks or chips, is very difficult to come by.
