    Description

    For sale we have a rare and unusual form mottled glaze Burley Winter Art Pottery hanging strawberry basket or planter in a small or miniature size. We have never had or seen this form and it is original. The piece has the typical thick and abstract glaze. The mottled colors are bright and vivid. The colors are a mauve and mottled green coloration which are strong and not faded around the entire basket. The basket has three opening for the plants and three hanging holes. The tops opening is unglazed. The condition is original and untouched with no issues. All the plant openings and the hanging holes are nice with no damage There are no chips, cracks, lines, scratches or restorations. We only see some very spotty light lime deposits when viewed in strong light which is around the openings. The height is approx. 2 3/8" and the overall length is approx. 4 1/4". This piece is a great survivor in a extremely interesting form and in untouched condition with a nice thick abstract glaze.
