    Description

    Extremely rare, original 1938 Der KdF-Wagen von A bis Z operator and maintenance manual for Hitlers people's car. Designed by Ferdinand Porsche, famously known as the Beetle. Volkswagen was established in 1937, by the German Labour Front, of the Nazi party. The German people were able to put money aside in a savings plan, (990 Reichsmarks, 6.00 US in 1938). 336,000 people actually paid into the plan. After World War 2 started, the factory switched to military vehicle production and the cars were never delivered. Promised, after the war, which never happened.  Absolute holy grail operator manuals and very hard to find. Autographed inside the cover page. Cannot make it out. Maybe somebody can ID it. Could be one of the designers or F. Porsche himself. Book is in nice, used condition. Previous owner stamped his name and address on inside of back cover, not retracting. Here is your chance to own this very rare manual. I did research and the reprints from the 1970's are 9.00, the originals are crazy money but priced reasonably here.
