    Description

    Super rare Red Wing GLOSSY TURQUOISE Pegasus / Winged Horse Vase.
    Horseshoe shaped bottom is marked
    1340 RED WING USA.
    Excellent condition with no chips, cracks,
    surface scratches or
    crazing.  Looks like it was never used. A couple of tiny manufacturer flaws, nothing serious.
    Measures 6.5" tall  by  6" wide  by  3" front to back on the base at his hooves.
    I've searched the internet, including past auction results dating back over a decade... I could not find another example in this
    GLOSSY TURQUOISE
    finish.  Seems almost as rare as a real pegasus!
    This mold design was produced from 1949-1952, most commonly in blue, white, yellow and pink.
