    Description

    The Peters & Reed pottery was formally incorporated in 1901. Their pottery was primarily made of red clay from the Zanesville, Ohio area. Peters & Red art pottery is known for their remarkable glazes and glaze treatments of which Marbelized is on the list.
    Here we have a fine example of a 11 1/4 inch tall jar vase. The glaze colors are amazing blend of yellow, green, red and black over a red clay body. This vase has a high gloss glaze which gives it a wonderful shine. This is a fantastic find!
    Wonderful condition in that it is undamaged, no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no restoration, with very minor underglaze crazing. Any non-perfections are from the firing/manufacturing process. The white spots are studio light reflections.
