Rainbowkits VOX-1
Voice activated switch (VOX) circuit kit. Use with a microphone (not included) to activate lights, key a ham radio transmitter, and much more.
Voice level from microphone activates the output drive transistor that can be used to activate a relay (sold separately under part RA5WN-K) to activate the PTT of a radio, or other device that can be activated by a switch.
The VOX-1 output transistor is capable of 80mA of output switching current.
Add optional on board relay (RA5WN-K) or combine with an external triac (TP-1) or relay (RP-1) kit to drive higher current loads
. Operates from audio source or from dynamic or electret microphone (not included). Operates on +5-15 VDC.
Includes printed circuit board (PCB), components, and instructions.

Rainbowkits are intended for experienced kit builder. The builder must be able to identify common electrical components and their markings. Minimal skill at soldering is required. All parts are factory tested. Once soldering has begun the kit is not returnable.
