    Description

    S.L Pewtress New Haven Connecticut Decorated Stoneware Pitcher. This late 19th century pitcher is a freehand decorated pitcher of 2 gallon capacity. Very large piece!   Measures 12" tall, 9" at it's widest part and 7.5 " at top diameter.  Having some minor factory flaws. There is a very faint 1" line on left side from rim down that does not go through. It's very faint and hardly noticeable.  An inside 2" "x" hairline that doesn't go to the outside. Really a beautiful pitcher.
