    Description

Schroth rack - Sweedish - stall bars
This super-heavy-duty solid hardwood rack was handmade by a family member about 20 years ago.  We are a tall, solid, non-smoking family (with hereditary scoliosis), the kind of safety-conscious family that checks the weight limit on backyard playsets and then keeps shopping for a sturdier model with a more secure weight limit.  As this rack is handmade, we don't know what the weight limit is but we made it to be unbreakable.
The wood dowels are 1.5 inches thick, resting in circular cut-outs in the solid wood side supports, and screwed into place so that they don't rotate.  The wood surface is silky smooth.
The rack is 93 inches tall = 7.75 ft.
The rack is 36 inches wide = 3 feet wide
The rack is deep enough to put a normal mirror behind it.  We have 2 giant hardwood-framed Ikea mirrors with this rack - 1 shown behind, and one is on the side wall, not shown, so that the user can check their alignment.  You can buy either mirror for an extra each, optional.
The rack also comes free with Schroth pads and straps, as shown, purchased from our former Scroth provider in Stevens Point, Wisconsin.
We can also give you, free, the "extender poles" used while laying on the floor, to push away from the wall.  Those are the same 1.5 inch long dowels, but 7.75 ft long.  (Not shown in photos because we're storing those in the basement.)
The rack is bolted to the wall studs.  So I don't know how much it weighs.  Unbolting it is a job for someone comfortable with power tools.
It's on a 1st floor of a single family home.
You'll need to come pick up and unbolt it as well.  I can help you carry it out and load it in your van or truck.
Non-smoking house that has cats and previously had a dog.
We're located in central New Jersey.
I repeat, you'll need to come unbolt it *and* pick it up.
