Here is a lovely but distressed tea pot:
1900s - 1920s
has wonderful transfer image of nasturtiums on sides and lid
line of illustration is Art Nouveau, Aesthetic Movement
black outline and graphic quality appears influenced by Japanese design
yellow and rose blossoms, olive green leaves
kelly green sponged on lid, spout, and handle
crazed all over cream body and inside
looks like a well-loved and used tea pot
lid has been broken and repaired (see picture) and unit still functions
lovely, old fashioned resonance that looks very romantic-boho, cottage core, bloomsbury in style
bottom stamped mark: Shenandoah Ware / "The Baden City Potters" / G-45 / under glaze
