Offered for purchase is a vintage piece of 'Old Spouter' Pottery from Nantucket, MA. It is one of the small Grandma Carrie bowls. The glaze on the outer surface is deep brown, and the inner surface is white, however this piece has somewhat discolored with age. The size and shape reminds me of an oyster.
Approx. Dimensions: 4.5 inches long, 4 inches wide; 1.3 inches tall
Condition: Overall decent. There are no major chips, cracks, or repairs. The inner surface of the bowl has considerable crazing, which could be cleaned in expert hands (photos 1-4). The base shows wear consistent with age and use. Please inspect all of the photos - they are part of the description.
