Vintage Elaine Filbert Native American Santa Clara Pueblo Blackware Turtle

Description

For sale is a carved blackware turtle.
It is signed underneath by Santa Clara Pueblo artist Elaine Filbert and dated 8/86.  It measures about 4.5” long and 1.75” tall and 2.75” wide at the widest part.
Turtle has a shiny polished black shell with matte black head, feet and carved areas on shell which have a deeply carved design.
Turtle appears in nice condition with no damage noted.
