his is the "Pauline Betz Official" set sold in the United States in the early '50s.
The paddles are painted bronze and imprinted in blue and again, about 17 inches
, and are just over 17 inches like the French set above. Pauline Betz won tennis's US Open in 1942, 1943, 1944, and 1946. In 1946 she also won Wimbledon, that Championship not having been played from 1940 through 1945 due to World War II.
