  • Condition: The Green Glaze Oil Jar/Vase Is In Excellent Vintage Condition With The Typical Glaze Pops Typically Found On Zanesville Pottery & A Very Thick Black Overflow. The Only Flaw We Can Find Is A Very Thin Vertical Seam On The Rim Where The Black Overflow Was Applied (Photos 3-5). It Is Not Clear If The Application Of The Black Glaze Was Incomplete Or Resulted In The Thinnest Of Hairlines.

    For sale is the green with thick black drip glaze/overflow Zanesville Pottery oil jar/vase shown in the listing photos. The vase measures ~ 12" X 7" (at the widest point) and is clearly labeled with an impressed J on the underside (photo 9).
