Vtg Cowan Art Pottery Squirrel Heron Pheasant Vase by Waylande Gregory

Up for auction is a fantastic vintage Cowan Pottery vase designed by Waylande Gregory. This vase is known to collectors as the squirrel vase as it depicts a squirrel along with a pheasant and a heron. Standing approximately 8.5" tall, the vase is a pale blue over a darker blue which gives depth to the raised decoration. The vase has no chips or cracks but there is overall crazing. I've taken a number of close up photos so that you can see the extent of the crazing. Fortunately, it is heaviest on the inside of the vase, but is noticeable if you look on the outside as well both along the base and up the sides. It displays beautifully.
