    Description

    A fabulous Mid-Century Modern Rooster Planter from William H. Hirsch Manufacturing Co., Los Angeles
    & is a RARE, HTF piece.
    This one is Cream colored with gold specks & is a very cool looking piece. There is very minor loss to the gold paint, including a small chip of paint missing on his bottom beak. The only other actual chip to the piece is to the top tip of his beak which is small. Both could easily be touched up with gold paint. The Rooster is quite impressive not only due to his gorgeous looks but also because of his size. He measures 11" long x 8" tall x 7 1/2" wide. The Planter portion measures 3 1/2" long x 2 1/4" wide x 2 1/2" deep. I have read these pieces are becoming more "known" & therefore their value is increasing. In the last photo is a "matching" piece. I am not 100% sure if it is made by the same maker but they appear so similar. I will be listing it soon. It is much smaller & is for serving hors d'oeuvres.
