ZANESVILLE SCARCE COLOR 7" ART POTTERY VASE

Description

Here is a fine vintage Zanesville art pottery vase in a scarce color. The thick-walled, heavy pot is 7” tall and 7” across at the top – the rich matt blue color is seldom seen – this Zanesville vase is almost always found in green. There are the usual factory bubbles etc – a tiny flake on the rim which may also be a bubble  - nothing unusual, no cracks or real concerns. The leaf and vines relief pattern around the shoulder is attractive  -  the inside shows dirt and residue from age and use – one color glaze flake can be seen on the inside.
